French Cooking | Mastering Pâte à Choux

Get ready for a French pastry adventure!

Learn the secrets behind pâte à choux—the light, airy dough that transforms into some of the most iconic treats in the pastry world.

We’ll whisk, pipe, and bake our way to:

  • Cream puffs | Light, round pastries made from pâte à choux and baked until hollow and crisp.
  • Éclairs |  Long, piped pastries made from pâte à choux, baked until airy.
  • Savory gougères | Savory cheese puffs made by folding grated cheese into pâte à choux before baking.

You’ll also make a silky vanilla pastry cream from scratch and learn decorating techniques that turn simple pastries into showstoppers.

By the end of class, you’ll have the confidence (and the skills!) to create bakery‑level pastries right from your own kitchen.

Come ready to pipe, fill, taste, and have a whole lot of fun!

What to Expect | 

Doors open 15 minutes prior to class.

Wine, Cocktails & Other Drinks available for purchase.

You’ll cook in a group of 2 people unless you request a larger group.

No need to bring anything for class – everything is provided.

Closed toe shoes encouraged.

Class subject to cancellation if a minimum sign-up not met. This will vary by instructor and you will be notified of the cancellation 24 hours in advance. Cancelled classes will be refunded.
