MOORHEAD, Minn.—Concordia College Theatre will present a four-day run of Thornton Wilder’s “Our Town,” starting April 16, 2026, at the Frances Frazier Comstock Theatre. Performances will continue through April 19.
1Edward Albee once described the play as “the greatest American play ever written”. Premiering in 1938, “Our Town” follows the citizens of Grover’s Corners, focusing on the Webb and Gibbs families as they navigate the themes of “Daily Life,” “Love and Marriage,” and “Death and Eternity”.
1The production is directed by Jessica Chipman, a playwright and Visiting Assistant Professor in Theatre. Chipman was previously recognized as the Minnesota Theatre Educator of the Year in 2021 by the Minnesota Educational Theatre Association (META).
1Performance times are scheduled for 8:00 p.m. on April 16, 17, and 18, with a matinee performance at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 19. The box office opens one hour before each performance, and doors open 20 minutes prior to showtime.
1Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Admission is free for Concordia faculty and staff, alumni, high school prospective students, and Fargo-Moorhead Tri-College students. Tickets can be purchased online at www.ticketsource.us/Concordia-College-Theatre or at the door.
