APRIL 2026 • RUMBA LESSONS & DANCING • USA NLDC CHAPTER 2020 • SPECIAL DANCE APRIL 29th

$5 – $10.00

In April, we will learn the dance style of Rumba. Often called the “dance of love”, characterized by sensual movements, 4/4 time.

A Latin dance characterized by Cuban motion done to romantic Latin songs and music, the Rumba is a slow, sensuous, romantic dance which spotlights the lady and features much flirtation.

Popularized in the 1930s, is slower, often danced to a “slow-quick-quick” rhythm.

*6:30pm Advanced Rumba Lesson

*7pm Basic/Intermediate Rumba Lesson

*followed by general dancing to a variety of music until 9pm, which may include various styles of ballroom dance, line dancing, or mixers.

USA Dance Inc Members & Students: $5.00; Nonmembers: $10.00

Special Event additional $5

*Please bring dry shoes to change into for dancing. Outdoor shoes bring in dirt, moisture, and gravel.

* Special Events with live music throughout the year.

* Our chapter’s main emphasis is on social dancing and providing opportunities for the expansion of dancing skills for fun and enjoyment among all ages and capabilities.
