Fly Fitness To Debut Downtown Fargo Location

A ‘revolutionary’ fitness studio plans to open this month in the heart of Downtown Fargo. Nebraska-based Fly Fitness will offer premium amenities and a bright, high-end facility for you to get one of the best sweat sessions in the area.

Fly Fitness Fargo is a 3,500-square-foot space in the northeast corner of the Dillard building at 247 Roberts Street North. The space will feature retail space, a cycling room, a HIIT and yoga/barre room, a multipurpose room and more.

In a previous press release, studio director Kelly Veit stated that the overall philosophy of the business is to “cycle, strengthen and sculpt members into their best selves.” And with what this unique studio offers, their philosophy is right on point.

“I had always wanted to do a fitness studio and boutique type of thing, and I knew it had to be downtown. I’ve always loved downtown, and wanted to support it. I’m very familiar and comfortable with it,” said Veit. “We plan to partner with other local businesses in the area to support them as well, and I’m looking forward to becoming part of the tight-knit family that is downtown.”

Group-based classes at Fly Fitness include a variety of cycling, yoga, high intensity training, circuits, cardio and barre so you can truly find whatever works for best you. Members will also have access to and open gym if they don’t feel like signing up for a class, as well as laundry service and showers complete with complimentary toiletries. The studio also plans to offer discounts for residential tenants of the Dillard building.

“What I like about Fly Fitness is that it’s not numbers-focused. You’re not tracking anything, there’s no scale around and it’s not a weight-loss competition. When you’re in a cycling class you’re not concerned with the numbers on the screen, but you’re focused on the instructor right in front of you,” said one of the owners, Luke Robson, after frequently attending a Fly Fitness location in Lincoln, Nebraska. “I felt welcomed from the beginning. It’s a judgment-free zone and you really feel part of a community.”

Fly Fitness also plans to sell apparel from Lululemon, Alo, DYI, shoe rentals and more in the boutique.
