April 28 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
A creative journey shaped by rejection – turning setbacks into purpose, authentic work, and campaigns for major brands and causes.

Creativity Through Adversity: Rejection is Redirection” with Sophia Yeshi

Join us for our 6th speaker event of our 2025-26 season, “Creativity Through Adversity: Rejection is Redirection” with Sophia Yeshi, Illustrator and Graphic Designer.

Presentation Overview:
Rejection has shaped more of Sophia’s story than success ever could. Every “no” pushed her to trust her vision and create work that feels true to who she is. In this talk, Sophia shares how those redirections led her to collaborate with brands like Nike, UPS, Adobe, and multiple sports leagues — crafting campaigns for Pride, Black History Month, and beyond. Through her journey, she learned that creativity isn’t about avoiding failure, it’s about transforming it. Because sometimes the detour is the direction.
