ELISE COLE:
Elise Cole is an Iranian-Jewish comedian from Minnesota, and 2018-2019 co-producer of the Minneapolis based showcase, People Of Comedy. She was a 2019 semifinalist in Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy contest, and opened for NPR’s Ophira Eisenberg at the 10th Annual Twin Cities Jewish Humor Festival. She was named one of Minneapolis’ “Critics’ Picks” and one of the “10 Very Best Stand-Up Comics” in 2023 by the Star Tribune. She is a regular feature and headliner at Acme Comedy Company, and was recently nominated for “Best(est) Comedian” by the KQRS Morning Show. Elise is a wife, mother, waitress, grad student, and published writer who finds humor in the challenges she faces in her day-to-day life. She has shared the stage with Doug Stanhope, Dave Attell, Colin Quinn, Michael Yo, Jeff Dye, Judy Gold, Julie Kim, Sophie Buddle, Rocky Lapore, and more.
JP MARTIN:
JP Martin started doing stand-up in 2018 at The Cellar in Fargo, ND. while attending the University of North Dakota, and he’s been on the road ever since. A semifinalist in the Minneapolis Funniest Person Contest and the Comedy Works New Faces Competition in Denver, as well as a third-place finisher in the River Cade Comedy Competition, JP has quickly built a reputation as a standout voice in the Midwest and beyond. Known for his sharp observational humor, JP delivers a fresh, relatable take on life, work, and relationships. He’s been featured on the “My Neighbor’s Hot Tub” podcast and has opened for nationally touring comedians including Eagle Witt, Adrian Washington, Dan Bublitz Jr., and Mark Masters. Now based in Denver, JP continues to perform across the country, bringing a Midwestern charm to audiences everywhere.
