Children’s Grief Retreat

A comfortable and inviting opportunity for children ages 6-17, who have lost a loved one to death. The retreat will foster healing and growth as we learn about grief and loss, healthy ways of coping and the importance of remembering loved ones. Attendees can expect group activities, a special remembrance project, and an opportunity to spend time with and learn about the horses and other critters on the farm. Dress for outdoor play. Snacks and cold sandwiches will be served. Parents, guardians, or special adults should return at 12pm for light refreshments and a group remembrance activity.
