Budweiser Clydesdales to Visit Fargo-Moorhead Area

FARGO, N.D. – The Budweiser Clydesdales will make several appearances in the Fargo-Moorhead area from September 5-7. The visit is part of a nationwide tour to promote Anheuser-Busch’s 15-year partnership with Folds of Honor, a nonprofit organization that provides educational scholarships to families of fallen or disabled U.S. service members and first responders.

The Clydesdales’ local schedule includes three public appearances:

  • Friday, September 5: The horses will participate in a parade down Broadway in downtown Fargo. The procession will begin with the team hitching on 2nd Avenue off Broadway Square at 4:30 p.m. This will also mark the first “Day Fresh Budweiser” delivery to the area in seven years, where beer packaged within 24 hours of brewing will be available for purchase at local retailers.
  • Saturday, September 6: The team will be on display at West Acres Mall from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the north parking lot.
  • Sunday, September 7: The Clydesdales will be at the Moorhead American Legion Community Picnic from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Each event will offer photo opportunities with the horses and a chance for the public to donate to the Folds of Honor local chapter. The press release also notes that consumers can support the organization year-round by purchasing specially marked 12-packs of Budweiser or Budweiser Zero, with a portion of the proceeds going to Folds of Honor. Since its partnership with Anheuser-Busch began, the nonprofit has received more than $33 million, funding over 6,600 scholarships.
