Fargo, ND – The Red River Market, presented by Thrivent, will commence its 2025 season on Saturday, July 12, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Broadway Square. The opening day will feature over 60 local vendors, live performances, and family-friendly activities. Admission is free.
The market’s entertainment schedule for opening day includes musical performances by The Forefeathers from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Loop in Color from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and Brass Interference from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A cooking demonstration with a Wild Game Chef is scheduled for 11:00 AM, followed by a performance by the Gooseberry Park Players – SHREK from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM.
Vendor Offerings and Community Initiatives
Over 60 local vendors will offer a variety of products including fresh produce, meats, eggs, baked goods, pantry staples, art, handmade goods, and ready-to-eat meals. Returning vendors include Namaste Kitchen, Steep Me Tea Apothecary, Treat Theater, Breadsmith of Fargo, Bear Creek Winery, and Cookie Krums.
The Red River Market will continue its commitment to food access and education. Weekly cooking demonstrations and tastings will begin at 11:00 AM. The Bite Size Kids Club will provide tokens to children who try a sample, redeemable at market vendors. Seasonal recipes featuring local produce will be available at the Little Free Recipes stand. The market accepts SNAP/EBT, offering a match of up to $15 per person per visit at the information booth.
