Fargo, ND – The Red River Market, presented by Thrivent, is set to commence its 2025 season on Saturday, July 12th, at Broadway Square. The market will operate from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, offering a range of local goods, entertainment, and community activities. Admission is free.
Over 60 vendors are expected to participate on opening day, featuring fresh produce, meats, eggs, baked goods, pantry items, art, handmade crafts, and prepared foods. Notable returning vendors include Namaste Kitchen, Steep Me Tea Apothecary, Treat Theater, Breadsmith of Fargo, Bear Creek Winery, and Cookie Krums.




The opening day’s entertainment schedule includes musical performances by The Forefeathers (10:00 AM – 11:00 AM), Loop in Color (11:30 AM – 12:30 PM), and Brass Interference (1:00 PM – 2:00 PM). A cooking demonstration with a Wild Game Chef is scheduled for 11:00 AM, and the Gooseberry Park Players will perform a segment from SHREK from 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM.
The Red River Market aims to support local arts and culture by featuring regional musicians, performers, and cultural organizations throughout its season. These performances are curated to highlight the diversity of the Fargo-Moorhead creative community.
In addition to vendor offerings and entertainment, the market will continue its focus on food accessibility and education. Weekly cooking demonstrations and tastings will begin at 11:00 AM. The Bite Size Kids Club will provide tokens to children who try samples, redeemable at the market. Seasonal recipes using local produce will be available at the Little Free Recipes stand. The Red River Market also accepts SNAP/EBT, with a matching program of up to $15 per person per visit available at the information booth.
