Fargo Public Library’s Seed Library Returns Monday, March 6

FPL Seed Library

Fargo Public Library

Spring is headed our way and the Seed Library is back for 2023; the Seed Library is available at both the Main and Dr. James Carlson Libraries

Spring is headed our way soon and the FPL Seed Library is back for 2023. Starting Monday, March 6, residents are encouraged to try out some seeds for free. This year, seed packets are available at the downtown Main Library and the Dr. James Carlson Library. A random assortment of vegetable, herb, and flower seeds will be available to the public while supplies last.

Residents are asked to only take up to 5 packets per household. Also, gardeners are asked to show what they grow by tagging the library on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter using the hashtag #FPLSeeds. For more information about the Seed Library, contact Kayla at 701.476.4026.

Special thanks to the following organizations who have made this program possible: the Friends of the Fargo Public Library, NDSU Extension’s Master Gardener Program, Hudson Valley Seed Co., and High Mowing Organic Seeds.
