Amped School of Music Launches Performance-Based Rock Band Courses

FARGO, N.D. — Amped School of Music has announced the launch of two new four-week performance programs designed to prepare musicians for live stage experiences. The “Rock Band Crash Courses” will begin rehearsals in January and conclude with a public concert at the Troll Lounge in Fargo.

Course Details and Demographics

The studio is offering two distinct tracks based on age group and musical style. Both courses are designed to take musicians through a rehearsal process that mimics a professional band environment, resulting in a three-song set.

  • K-Pop Demon Hunters: Designed for musicians ages 10 to 15, this course focuses on a blend of pop and rock styles.
  • Fleetwood Mac Rock Band: Tailored for musicians ages 16 and older, this course covers the greatest hits of the iconic rock group.
Amped School of Music students get to learn the skills to perform live.

Schedule and Requirements

Rehearsals for both ensembles are scheduled for consecutive Sundays, running from January 11 through February 1. The final performance is set to take place on Thursday, February 5.

The program is open to the general public; enrollment is not restricted to current students of Amped School of Music. Organizers have stated that the courses are open to vocalists, guitarists, bassists, drummers, pianists, and other instrumentalists, provided they possess a basic knowledge of their instrument.

Registration Information

Registration is currently open but limited to ensure balanced instrumentation for the bands.
