About Claire & Allie

Clare Freeman and Allie Mounce are designers and partners at Pretty Useful Co., a brand and illustration studio in Memphis, TN. Pretty Useful Co. began as a small goods collaboration of enamel pins, prints, and banners they debuted at the Creative Works Conference in 2016. After four years of successfully moonlighting as freelancers and product makers, they decided to leave their agency jobs behind and launch their own creative studio in 2020. Despite taking the leap in a very weird and turbulent year, they’ve landed on their feet and expanded into a nimble studio of three working with clients in tech, retail, travel, food, and hospitality. With each new challenge, Clare and Allie strive to follow Pretty Useful Co.’s five core values in everything they do: fun first, collaborate often, stay curious, make a difference, and honesty always.
