FARGO, N.D. – Chef Jay Ducote, a television personality and culinary expert known for his Cajun cuisine, is set to host an exclusive three-course dinner at Rosewild at the Jasper Hotel on Thursday, August 14.
Ducote gained national recognition as the runner-up on Season 11 of the Food Network competition show Food Network Star. He also emerged victorious in an episode of Beat Bobby Flay and has appeared on other culinary programs, including Chopped, Cutthroat Kitchen, and Superchef Grudge Match. A Louisiana native, he is widely known for his bold Southern flavors.
The event at Rosewild will begin with a meet and greet with Chef Ducote from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Dinner will be served in two separate seatings, with the first at 5:00 PM and the second at 7:00 PM. The three-course meal is priced at $100 per person, a cost that includes tax and gratuity. Drink pairings will also be available for an additional charge.
Beyond his television appearances, Ducote’s culinary career includes a range of ventures. He has cooked at the historic James Beard House in New York City on two occasions and is the author of the cookbook Jay Ducote’s Louisiana Outdoor Cooking. He has also been involved in creating barbecue sauces, wines, and coffee, and has hosted a pilot show for the Travel Channel. The event offers Fargo residents an opportunity to experience his signature cooking style firsthand.
