Advance your knowledge with this introductory workshop on programming games with Python 3 + PyGame. No prior experience is needed!
Join us for a free, immersive workshop that will introduce simple game programming while exploring your interest in coding. This fun, self-paced workshop will be an interesting code-along experience. No prior experience is needed!
At the end of this course, you’ll have a fundamental understanding of modeling + expanding on simple 2D games using Python and PyGame.

Requirements:
As this is an introductory workshop, there are not many requirements except:
-A working installation of Python3 on your machine
-The VS Code text editor installed
-An eagerness to learn!

This course also provides an excellent base to complete an application for Emerging Digital Academy, North Dakota’s first (and only) immersive software engineering bootcamp. If you can complete this workshop, you can complete the application. Find out more information here!
