FARGO, N.D. – The Fargo Theatre will once again host the Cat Video Fest, a compilation of internet cat videos, on Saturday, September 13. Screenings are scheduled for 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
The videos are curated by Will Braden, creator of the web series Henri, le Chat Noir. Now in its eighth year, the festival has expanded its global reach to include screenings in the UK, Denmark, France, Spain, Japan, and Brazil. Last year, the festival’s screenings generated over $1 million at the box office.
The event is a collaboration between the Fargo Theatre and Homeward Animal Shelter. A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to the shelter. Additionally, adoptable animals from Homeward Animal Shelter will be present at the theater on the day of the event.
Tickets are priced at $11 for adults and $8 for children under 16. The compilation features a variety of content, including original submissions, animations, and music videos.
