FARGO, N.D. – Downtown Fargo is scheduled to host its inaugural Lemonade Crawl on Saturday, August 23, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. The event, a new addition to the downtown summer calendar, encourages participants to stroll through the city center, explore local businesses, and sample a variety of cold, non-alcoholic beverages.
Kickoff and How to Participate
The crawl will officially begin at Fargo Broadway Square, where attendees can pick up their event map and a custom mug. Participants have the choice between a 14-ounce branded plastic mug or a limited-supply, 8-ounce handmade ceramic cup crafted by local artist Hayden Swanson of Livin’ the Dream Pottery. Due to the limited quantity of ceramic cups, the organizers recommend purchasing tickets early to secure one. Kids under 5 can join for free with a ticketed adult!
Once equipped with their map and mug, participants will visit a number of businesses throughout downtown Fargo. Each location will offer a special drink, with options ranging from classic lemonades and iced teas to fruity spritzers and other creative summer sips. The event provides a unique opportunity to discover new shops and restaurants while enjoying a refreshing beverage.

Prizes and Community Support
Beyond the refreshing drinks, the Lemonade Crawl offers a chance to win prizes. Participants who complete the crawl will be entered into a drawing. More information about the prizes is expected to be announced closer to the event date.
This event is designed as a way to “beat the heat” while simultaneously supporting local businesses and fostering a new downtown tradition. Tickets are required for participation and can be purchased online. Additional information and registration details can be found on the Downtown Fargo website.
