This year marks the 13th anniversary of Kids to Parks Day! Always hosted on the third Saturday of May, Kids to Parks Day is a national day of outdoor play! The day connects kids and families with their local, state, and national parks through thousands of outdoor events promoting discovery and exploration.
The West Fargo Park and Recreation Foundation brings this event to you! Kids to Parks Day will take place on Saturday, May 20, at Dakota Park (5600 9th St W) from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. The event will begin with a proclamation by West Fargo Commission President Dardis. Following this, participants will have the opportunity to participate in FREE outdoor activities and lawn games, make a planter to take home with flowers provided by Petal Pushers, play on the beautiful playground, try out their skills on the pickleball court, and enjoy a cool treat!
The West Fargo Parks Foundation is dedicated to supporting the Park District in developing and enhancing parks and facilities and providing recreation opportunities for the residents for present and future generations.
