FARGO, N.D. – Bottle Barn Liquors has announced it will close its retail location in downtown Fargo at the end of February 2026. The closure comes after just three years of operation at the site.
According to a press release issued by the company, the decision to cease operations downtown follows a comprehensive review of customer traffic patterns and an assessment of long-term sustainability for the location.
The business is located on the ground floor of Kilbourne Group’s Kesler building. The space was originally fitted for a restaurant facing 2nd Avenue and for several small shop spaces along Roberts Alley.
Shift in Strategic Focus
The company stated that it intends to consolidate its resources to focus on its two larger existing locations in Fargo and West Fargo.
“Moving forward, Bottle Barn will focus its resources on its larger stores, where customers can enjoy the widest selection, best value, and the full Bottle Barn experience,” the company noted in its announcement.
Bottle Barn confirmed that it will continue to operate and invest in these larger facilities, emphasizing a continued commitment to the broader Fargo and West Fargo communities.
Concluding Operations
The downtown location is scheduled to remain open through the end of February. In their statement, Bottle Barn management expressed gratitude to the downtown customer base for their patronage over the last three years and acknowledged the value of having been part of the downtown business community.
Customers are encouraged to visit the remaining Bottle Barn Liquors locations for service following the downtown closure.
