Cocktail Class: Category-defying spirits in cocktails

Whether or not you joined us for our Category-Defying Spirits class last year, get ready to explore the world of unique spirits once again, this time with an eye towards mixing these spirits in cocktails. In our previous class, we explored spirits that do not fit into any predefined category; they are not vodka, whiskey, rum, gin, or brandy, nor do they fit more esoteric titles like aquavit, grappa, baijiu, or amaro. They stand alone, displaying the unique flexibility of the distiller’s art.

In this class, Evan Christie and Nick Wheeler will present cocktails to you so you can see how these category-defying spirits, though they may not taste exactly like anything you have had before, can still be whipped into the shape of a delicious cocktail.
