Embrace The Chill At Frostival 2019

[alert type=blue ]Due to extreme cold, some events have been cancelled or moved inside. Visit Frostival.com for info.[/alert]

One of the most exciting times of the year is back to warm up the city with spirit––the Fargo-Moorhead Convention and Visitor’s Bureau’s (FMCVB) 4th annual Frostival celebration will be taking place throughout the entire city on January 25 and 26.

The city-wide event was started as a way to get residents to embrace the frost and our cold climate instead of complain about it. The snow is here more months out of the year than it’s not, so here’s your chance to have fun with it. Why not golf, play kickball or do yoga in the snow? A hot cocoa cook-off and an outdoor concert? Sign us up. Snow sculptures and cardboard sled races? Yes please. There is an extensive list of ongoing activities and special events taking place throughout the two days that there’s a good chance you’ll have a hard time choosing your favorites.

In a press release, the FMCVB stated, “We here at the FMCVB and our partners at Fargo Parks, West Fargo Parks, and Moorhead Parks are determined to make this an event that brings people from around the region, as well as something that improves the livability of our awesome city during one of the coldest months of the year.”

This event truly has something fantastic and exciting for people of all ages, so gather up your friends and your kids (or your dogs) and plan for an outdoor adventure. Check out our full schedule below, or you can get more details and registration information on the Frostival website.
