Friday Night Hikes on Bluestem Prairie
Buffalo River State Park 565 155th St S, Glyndon, MN, United StatesStarting in the picnic area of Buffalo River State Park, we will hike across the Buffalo River to the historical Bluestem Prairie Scientific and Natural Area to learn more about its animal residents and unique blooms in addition to the historical land use and conservation practices that preserved this beautiful landscape to modern times. Park daily ($7) or annual pass ($35) required on all vehicles entering MN State Parks
Wednesday in the Wild: Twin Valley Prairie SNA
Buffalo River State Park 565 155th St S, Glyndon, MN, United StatesThis trip will meet at Buffalo River State Park (565 155th Street South, Glyndon, MN 56547); participants can then caravan to the site location (about 35-45 minutes) following the SNA Naturalist vehicle. The trip aims to experience the beautiful spring diversity of the Glacial Ridge and learn more about this unique ecosystem and its geology. Twin Valley SNA is a unique mix of wet and dry prairie along with native prairie remnants and restoration work.

Buffalo River State Park 565 155th St S, Glyndon, MN, United StatesBuffalo River State Park and the Minnesota State University Moorhead’s Regional Science Center will offer open hours for the public to view the displays at their Buffalo River location. Enjoy some interactive activities and the opportunity to talk to park staff! Topics will rotate throughout the summer and with interactive or guest presentations depending on the weekend!

Buffalo River Bootcamp
Buffalo River State Park 565 155th St S, Glyndon, MN, United StatesJoin us with two wellness professionals in the park for a creative outdoor fitness experience! Whether You’re looking to diversify your workout plan or get an introduction to movement and exercise, there will be something to be gained for everyone.
