Progressive metal luminaries Monuments have announced a concert at The Hall at Fargo Brewing Company on Thursday, October 10, 2019 with special guests Skyharbor, Greyhaven and Vespera.
Progressive metal luminaries Monuments are back with their most innovative work yet in their new album, Phronesis. The path to get there wasn’t an easy one, however. To support their previous album, The Amanuensis, Monuments embarked on a two-year global journey. While previous albums Gnosis and The Amanuensis paved the way for Monuments’ monumental return on Phronesis, its songs— one listen to “A.W.O.L.”, “Vanta”, “Ivory”, “Leviathan” and “The Watch” proves Monuments are on the leading edge of musical virtuosity, vocal superiority and lyrical smarts.
From a file on a computer sitting in New Delhi, to a full-fledged touring band with members from around the world formed over the internet – Skyharbor have defied convention every step of the way. Their debut album Blinding White Noise was released worldwide in 2012 to critical acclaim and earned the band a dedicated fan following across the globe. Since then, Skyharbor have been performing regularly around the world and making waves with their distinctive brand of sweeping, ethereal prog-rock and releasing Guiding Lights in 2014.
Louisville rockers, Greyhaven have had a robust touring schedule that includes hitting the map with Silent Planet, Stray From the Path and more.
Vespera hails from Seattle, Wash, and showcase an ethereal, enigmatic and aggressive rock. With members-only having met a few months prior, the fledgling group premiered their debut single “Bloom” via Billboard, receiving widespread acclaim from fans and press alike.
