MBA To Host Moorhead’s 48th Annual Independence Day Celebration

The Moorhead Business Association (MBA) will host the 48th Annual Independence Day Celebration in Moorhead, MN. The 2021 theme of the program is “Drive up, or kick back and Tune in”. Radio station BOB 95.1 will play patriotic music during the show, which is set to begin at sundown.

The Moorhead Proud 565600H & AAH 4th of July Celebration will take place at Horizon Shores Park on July 4th. As Moorhead Business Association prepares the celebration the park will be closed to the public on July 4th after 3 PM. Take notice of the barriers and NO PARKING signs around Horizon Shores Park. “Drive up and Tune in” to BOB 95.1 and view the Fireworks from all over Moorhead and the surrounding communities for their biggest show ever.

VIP parking available at Horizon Middle School and Dorothy Dodd Elementary school at $10 per vehicle and proceeds will benefit from providing milk and snacks for students in need, providing scholarships for Moorhead High Students, and funding innovative projects through teacher impact grants. Lot opens at 7:30 PM and Northern Brain Freeze Shaved Ice will be available for sale at Horizon Middle School.

Vista Center for Education Parking lot at 2777 34th Street South Parking lot opens at 7 PM, at $10 per vehicle. Proceeds will go help benefit Saint Joseph Catholic School and its 140 years of providing faith-filled education.
