Theatre B presents the World Premiere of “DECKED!” by Ginna Hoben. With a nod to the classics “It’s a Wonderful Life” and “A Christmas Carol,” “DECKED!” is a funny and heartfelt holiday play that explores the themes of letting go and moving on. The show combines modern topics, laughter, and deep emotions with a sprinkle of magic in this take on a Holiday classic. Instead of Ebenezer Scrooge, we watch a single mother, Celia, tackle many tricky aspects of her life while trying to make Christmas memorable for her teenage daughter. What could go wrong?”

The cast includes Theatre B ensemble members Monika Browne-Ecker, Crystal Cossette Knight, Clare Lynch, and a newcomer to the B stage, Skylar Steffan. This hilarious and, at times, profoundly emotional play depicts an extraordinary holiday night full of stresses and gifts. With funny interactions and moments of dramatic discovery, “DECKED!” will surprise you and help you feel better about the imperfect ways we try to make Christmas memorable for our loved ones.
