The Red River Watercolor Society announces guest speaker, artist Sandra Muzzy, and her courageous story of healing after a stroke.

More than seven years ago, Sandra had a brain aneurysm explode in her head. The doctors say it was a hemorrhagic stroke. After months of recovery, her desire to paint was no longer there. Then, one day, she bought 100 wooden palettes and started painting herself. Some are ugly, some are funny, some are depressed, some show the hole in her brain, and some show her feelings and explain to her friends how a damaged brain affects her. Hear her inspirational story. Free and open to the public.

Sandra Muzzy is a watercolor artist and a retired teacher in Bloomington, M. She is a past President of the Minnesota Watercolor Society.
