Harwood Prairie Playhouse presents our 40th season with Ken Ludwig’s Lend Me A Soprano. In Lend Me A Soprano, it’s 1934, and the clever and combustible Lucille Wiley, Manager of the Cleveland Grand Opera Company, is ready to welcome world-class soprana Elena Firenzi, for her one-night only starring role in Carmen. Alas, Elena arrives late, her impassioned husband Pasquale has a fit of jealousy, and it remains to be seen whether Mrs. Wiley’s mousey but determined assistant Jo can save the day. Lend Me A Soprano is a dizzying amount of fun…a signing, door-slamming whirlwind of a good time.
Lend Me A Soprano will be presented March 8, 9, 15, 16, 21-23 at 7:30 and March 10, 17, 23 at 2:00 pm
Tickets are $20 for all evening performances, $17 for all matinee performances and $14 for Senior Night on March 21.
