Sunset on the Riverfront is a new event conceived by Folkways as a part of Moorhead’s Placemaking Services grant. It will be an evening filled with music, makers, and family activities along the banks of the Red River on Monday, September 14th, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at American Crystal Sugar Company, located at 101 3rd St N, Moorhead, MN.
The event will be an evening filled with live music, featuring a performance by local band The Forefeathers. The night will also showcase a diverse lineup of makers and artists, offering unique experiences such as live henna art by LetsHennaFargo and unique functional ceramics crafted by Copper Sun Creations.
There will be many local foods to choose from, including unique British street waffles on a stick by Windsor Waffles and local hearty food by Deb’s Corner Foods and Catering. Additionally, you can find fresh soda’s made with natural foods from Flannel Fizz. Attendees can also partake in Tarot and Astrology sessions with Kaiva Rose.
