Alter Bridge & Sevendust to rock Outdoors at Fargo Brewing in August

Rockers Alter Bridge have announced a new leg of their Pawns & Kings tour, which will see a stop Outdoors at Fargo Brewing on Monday, August 28, 2023, with Sevendust and MJT in support. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 28.

Alter Bridge has been touring in support of Pawns & Kings, their seventh studio album, which came out in October of 2022. The band was formed in Orlando in 2004, with singer Myles Kennedy joined by three former Creed alumni — Scott Phillips, Mark Tremonti, and Brian Marshall.

The band’s 2004 debut LP One Day Remains bowed in the Top 5 of the Billboard Top 200 and went gold. 2007 saw the release of Blackbird and its title track was voted to have the “Greatest Guitar Solo of All Time” by Guitarist Magazine readers.

This July, Sevendust will release its 14th studio album, Truth Killer. The band became a banner carrier of the Nu Metal genre that rose in the late ’90s, with 1999’s “Waffle” considered one of the top 100 Nu Metal songs of all time.

The band’s lineup has changed over the years, but the band has continued to release new music and tour extensively. Sevendust last played Outdoors at Fargo Brewing in July of 2021, headlining a show with Austin Meade and Kirra.

Long Island’s MJT is a literal band of brothers. Matt, Jordan, and Dave Godfrey got their start playing jazz outside their local 7-11. Over the years, their sound progressed towards a grungy rock with a jazz influence. They’ve played SXSW and have been touring since 2014.
