11th Annual Design a Bookmark Contest At Fargo Library In March

Calling all area artists for the library’s annual Design-a-Bookmark Contest! Starting March 1, entries will be accepted for the Fargo Public Library’s annual Design-a-Bookmark Contest for all ages, including adults.

The contest runs March 1 through March 31. There are separate entry forms and rules for the children, teen and adult design contests, which can be picked up at any Fargo Public Library location and are also available on the library’s website starting March 1. Entries will be accepted at all three library locations and must be turned in, on or before Tuesday, March 31.

Kids’ Contest: Three winners will be selected for the kids’ contest – one for each age group: 0 to 5 years, 6 to 8 years, and 9 to 12 years; children are welcome to submit up to three designs. All design entries will be displayed in the Children’s Department at the Main Library. Library staff will vote to determine the winners of the contest; winners will be announced in early April. Winning bookmark designs will be printed and distributed at all three library locations. For further information, call Children’s Services at 701.241.1495.

Teen Contest: Two winners will be selected. Teens are welcome to submit up to two designs. All design entries will be displayed at the Dr. James Carlson Library. Library staff will vote to determine the winners of the contest; winners will be announced in early April. Winning bookmark designs will be printed and distributed at all three library locations. Adult Contest: Two winners will be selected. Adults can submit up to two designs and all entries will be displayed at the Dr. James Carlson Library. Library staff will vote to determine the winners of the contest; winners will be announced in mid-April. Winning bookmark designs will be printed and distributed at all three library locations.
