Inaugural Downtown Fargo Motorcycle Show Benefits Area Veterans

Downtown Fargo will host its first-ever motorcycle show this September. The Fargo VFW and the Downtown Fargo Community Partnership have announced the inaugural “American Veterans Motorcycle Show” to take place on September 7, 2019, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Fargo Underground is proud to be media partner for the event.

This first-time community event in the core of Downtown Fargo will feature the finest, fastest and the ugliest machines on 2 or 3 wheels. Area motorcycle dealers, vendors and bike builders will make downtown the afternoon attraction benefiting area veteran causes. Suicide and homelessness continue to be areas of concern for local veterans organizations.

The Fargo VFW at 222 Broadway is the host to this fresh outdoor event that starts at Broadway on 2nd Ave and heads North up Robert’s Alley to Dempsey’s creating the viewing backdrop only Downtown Fargo can offer. All motorcycles are welcome with special awards from P2-Industries & Dakota Monument, Best of Show, Basket Case, People’s Choice, and Mayor’s Favorite. Food will be served from the Fargo VFW BBQ and Downtown establishments. NDSU-UND football will be on all the televisions.

Well know motorcycle celebrity emcee, Dan Jacobson Sr. will be calling the action. Race motorcycles, Street, Custom, Touring, Dual-use, Chopper, Mini & Monsters rides will fill the streets of Downtown Fargo. Special invites have gone out to Brittney Olsen famous for her early 1900 board track racers and her recent invite and trip to the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK. TC. Hooligans Motorcycle Racer and X Games athlete Danja is also an invited guest.

Bringing the community together for our veterans with this interesting event will set the stage for what organizers hope will be an annual downtown event. The show welcomes any motorcycle until all spots are filled on a first-come basis.
