Jobs and income growth expected to outpace national averages again in 2015
It’s obvious to anyone who lives and works in the Fargo-Moorhead area that there’s a lot of entrepreneurship going on, and once again the metro is getting recognized for the great employment opportunities being created.
ZipRecruiter listed Fargo as the #2 Best Job Market for 2015, just behind Lincoln, Nebraska at #1 overall. Out of the small markets, Fargo was ranked #1.
The company ranked cities based on applicants to employers, applications to job postings and by using Bureau of Labor Statistics unemployment scores.
The Fargo metros growth in both jobs and income was highlighted as outpacing national averages, with education and healthcare being big contributors to these gains. Stalwart industries like agriculture and manufacturing stabilize the job market in the cities.
