Recreation on the Red – Then and Now by Clay County Archivist Mark Peihl

Join us for “Recreation on the Red – Then and Now,” a presentation by Clay County Archivist Mark Peihl. From the mid-19th century to the early 20th century, area residents regularly used the river for recreation. Later in the 1900s, many residents turned their backs on the Red and have only recently rediscovered the joys of river recreation. Find out what happened and why on Monday, May 22nd, at 6:30 pm.
