Thursday, September 7

  • Greater Moorhead Days Cruise Night | Moorhead Center Mall north parking lot | 5-8:30 p.m.
    • Enjoy the vehicles, food, live music and vendors in this exciting family-friendly atmosphere!

Friday, September 8

  • Greater Moorhead Days Parade | 6 p.m.
    • Join us as the community steps out to shine with floats and fleets from area businesses and organizations. This year’s parade theme is “Moorhead: Out of this World”!
    • Parade Route: Northbound on 20th St from 28th Ave S to 14th Ave S

Saturday, September 9

  • HALF-OFF Canoe and Kayak Rentals | Hjemkomst Landing | 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
    • Enjoy the Red with one of our canoe and kayak rentals! As we wrap up our summer season, Moorhead Parks and Recreation is offering half-off rentals during Greater Moorhead Days! Swing by and rent one of our single or tandem kayaks, or a canoe for just $5/hour per vessel. All rentals are on a first-come, first-served basis. Rentals include paddles and a life jacket that must be worn at all times.
  • FM Kicks Band + Fargo Folklorico Concert| Memorial Park | 3–5 p.m.
    • This free concert will showcase talented musicians spanning the genres of jazz, funk, blues, and Latin and open with a performance from Fargo Folklorico! Games and activities will be available and Swing Barrel Brewing Co. will have beer for purchase. Come enjoy the family fun!

Sunday, September 10

  • Our Local Plate: Farm Fest + Marketplace | Doubting Thomas Farms | 3–6 p.m.
    • Activities for the whole family! Shop the farmers market and enjoy chef demos and a savory meal from Heart-n-Soul Community Café, all featuring the local bounty of the season! A fun-filled day celebrating family farms, sustainable food sources and the economic impact of investing in local farmers, ranchers and makers. Monday, September 11

  • Medallion Hunt | Begins Monday, September 11 | 8:00 a.m.
    • Medallions will be hidden within city limits on public land. Clues will be announced daily on Big 98.7, Bob 95FM, and 107.9 The Fox. Follow the clues for fantastic prizes including a grand prize of $1,000 in gift cards from Hornbacher’s!
  • Author Visit: Caroll Engelhardt | Moorhead Public Library | 6:30 p.m.
    • Free family fun with inflatable games, interactive booths, kite flying, music, carriage rides, a petting zoo, and so much more! Concessions are available for purchase.

Tuesday, September 12

  • RiverArts at the Moorhead Farmers Market | Hjemkomst Center Parking Lot | 3 – 7 p.m.
    • Find fresh produce, meats, flowers, baked goods, honey and so much more at the Moorhead Farmers Market! Our PoP Club provides kids 4-12 and adults 55+ a $2 token each week to spend on produce. Join us on this day for double tokens and and live music from Twelve Strings and Heart&Soul! Swing Barrel Brewing Co. will have beer for purchase.
  • Midco Kids Fest | Bluestem Amphitheater | 4:30 – 7 p.m.
    • Free family fun with inflatable games, music, carriage and barrel car rides, a petting zoo and so much more! Food will be available for purchase.

Thursday, September 14

  • Trails Stonemill Park Carnival | Trails at Stonemill Park | 5–7 p.m.
    • South Moorhead has a hidden gem you should know about! Bring your family and friends to an evening of carnival games, inflatable games, and more! Admission is free. Hosted by Prairie Property Management.
  • Used Book Sale | Moorhead Public Library | 5-8 p.m. Thursday & 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Friday-Saturday 
    • Proceeds help the Friends of the Moorhead Library and support library programs and services.
  • The Longest Table | 1111 30th Ave S | 6-8 p.m.
    • Feast at a massive community table. Pork-free, gluten-free and vegan menu options at this free event.
  • Stonewall Sports Cornhole Tournament | Viking Ship Park | 6-8 p.m. 
  • POSTPONED: Sunset on the Riverfront
    • Event has been postponed to next year due to impending thunderstorms.
  • College Bash | Sunset Lanes | 7-9 p.m. 
    • Free cosmic bowling and arcade games for students, plus music from DJ Pretty Ricky! Presented by the MBA, Axis Clinicals and Johnson’s Auto Repair.

Friday, September 15

  • Used Book Sale | Moorhead Public Library | 5-8 p.m. Thursday & 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Friday-Saturday 
    • Proceeds help the Friends of the Moorhead Library and support library programs and services.

Saturday, September 16

  • Red River Run 5K or 15K | MB Johnson Park | 9 a.m.
    • Join us for the 49th Annual Red River Run, hosted by the Lake Agassiz Pacers! This walk/run has been hitting the streets and paths of Fargo-Moorhead longer than any race in the area. A portion of the funds will be donated to Moorhead’s Inclusive Playground.
  • Used Book Sale | Moorhead Public Library | 5-8 p.m. Thursday & 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Friday-Saturday 
    • Proceeds help the Friends of the Moorhead Library and support library programs and services.
