Aber Days at Fort Abercrombie August 4-6

August 4 – Friday – Community Supper in Aber Park – Pavilion – 5:00 – 8;00 pm – “Radio Stars” Dance in Pavilion 7-10 pm. $5.00 per person fundraiser for the North Country Dakota Prairie Chapter.

August 5 – Saturday- 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. – 5th Minnesota Civil War Encampment – Blacksmithing, Metis Storytelling by Medicine Woman, Christ Goulet, 1:00 and 3:00 pm, Fort Abercrombie Photography Workshop 1:00 – 3:00 pm, Authors Expo in Interpretive Center: Candace Simar, Mattie Richardson, Jan Smith, Carrie Newmann, Civil War sewing demonstrations, Dakota tepee, and history presentations, guided tours of the site, gallery, bookstore and gift shop.

Parade 11;00 – vendors in the Aber Park, car show, kids games, Rodeo 5:00 pm Street Dance 9 pm
