Volunteer editors, writers, and photographers are the backbone of Fargo Underground. They help us promote the fine dining, nightlife, art, and live music venues in the Fargo-Moorhead area.

You’ll find our staff out in the community, volunteering and participating in many ways around the Fargo-Moorhead metro.

Maren Jorgensen

Editor-in-Chief

Maren is a Fargo Underground co-founder and has worked in television and new media. She is very active in the downtown Fargo-Moorhead community and is an advocate for businesses and residents. She loves puppies, good music, and great bourbon.

Erica Rapp

Erica is very active in the local scene and is a board member of the Downtown Neighborhood Association. In her free time, she is in Halloween mode year-round, thrives on trying new food, and loves being a Sphynx cat mom.

Jonathan Goetz

Music & Film Writer

Jon Goetz has been creating, editing, and producing music & video for over 30 years. He runs a small media studio in Fargo. He is a creative who loves discovering new music, film, and art.

Scottie Knollin

Film Reviewer

Scottie Knollin is a filmmaker and co-founder of the North Dakota Film Society. He was born and raised in Atlanta, with work on film/TV projects including “The Blind Side,” “Due Date,” “The Walking Dead” and “The Vampire Diaries.” He maintains active membership in the Georgia Film Critics Association and has been a jurist for the Fargo Film Festival, and an Advisory Board Member of the North Dakota Human Rights Film Festival.
