Fargo, ND – Nova Eatery & Supper Club, the new restaurant taking over the former BernBaum’s location at 402 N. Broadway, is gearing up for its grand opening with a special VIP soft opening event scheduled for Thursday, April 10, 2025.
The restaurant, a 2.0 version of the former Nova Eatery, promises an elevated Midwestern dining experience, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. While keeping popular items like smashburgers, the menu will expand to include more interesting selections, accompanied by a curated beer, cocktail, and wine list. The atmosphere aims for a Midwestern supper club vibe.
Local restaurateurs Nikki Ness Berglund and Chef Ryan Nitschke are at the helm, with Chef Andrew Martin Dohn leading the kitchen and Mandy Dolney overseeing baked goods and desserts.
The VIP soft opening is a crowdfunding event, offering a select group of diners a trial run before the restaurant opens to the general public. This allows the team to address any challenges and fine-tune their operations. A regular soft opening for friends and family is expected to follow, with the public opening anticipated in mid-to-late April.
