FARGO, N.D. – The Roger Maris Celebrity Golf Tournament, presented by Happy Harry’s Bottle Shops, tees off for the 40th time on Thursday, June 20. The event features both 9 and 18-hole golf tournaments.
The 9-hole tournament takes place at Rose Creek Golf Course, 1500 E. Rose Creek Parkway S., Fargo. Registration is at 7:30 a.m. and tee time is at 8:30 a.m. Cost is $600 per team or $175 per golfer.
The 18-hole tournament is also at Rose Creek Golf Course. Registration is at 11 a.m. and tee time is at 12 p.m. Cost is $1,250 per team.

Cris Carter is a two-time, first-team National Football League All-Pro and eight-time Pro Bowl wide receiver. He is the Minnesota Vikings’ all-time leader in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns. In 1999, Carter won the NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, which is presented annually to a player for their commitment to philanthropy and community impact, as well as excellence on the field. In 2013, Carter was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Steve Garvey is a 10-time Major League Baseball All-Star. In 1974, Garvey won the National League Most Valuable Player of the Year Award. In 1981, Garvey won a world series with the Los Angeles Dodgers and was named the recipient of the Roberto Clemente Award, which is given annually to the MLB player who best represents the game of baseball through extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy and positive contributions, both on and off the field.
Chad Greenway played his entire 11-year NFL career with the Minnesota Vikings. Greenway is a two-time Pro Bowler and led the National Football Conference (NFC) in combined tackles in 2010. Greenway is a two-time Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee, given annually honoring a player’s volunteer and charity work, as well as excellence on the field.
Cordell Volson is the starting left guard for the Cincinnati Bengals. A 2022 fourth-round draft pick from North Dakota State University, Volson has started in 36 consecutive games to begin his career. At NDSU, he was a three-time FCS All-American and four-time FCS national champion.
