Fargo Library to Hold Library Garden Volunteer Interest Meeting April 13

Residents invited to attend the meeting at the Dr. James Carlson Library

For the 2023 growing season, the Fargo Public Library is partnering with local community garden group Growing Together to plant, maintain and harvest the garden plots at the Dr. James Carlson Library. A library garden volunteer interest meeting will be held Thursday, April 13, at 3 p.m. in the community room at the Dr. James Carlson Library.  Join Jack Wood from the leadership team of Growing Together to learn about volunteer tasks and the many benefits of community gardening.

Weekly volunteer sessions for the library gardens will be held Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon starting in late April/early May, depending on the spring weather. All ages are welcome to volunteer and no gardening experience is necessary. For more information, contact Lori West at 701.476.5977 or email lwest@fargolibrary.org

Fargo Public Library events are free and open to the public. For questions about any of the library’s services or upcoming events call 701.241.1492, email reference@fargolibrary.org or visit www.fargolibrary.org.
