Battle of the Books 2023 runs from February 26 through April 23
March Madness is back at the Fargo Public Library this spring! The 6th annual Battle of the Books runs from February 26 through April 23, 2023, at the downtown Main Library.
Sixteen books battle, but only one will win! The top eight chapter books chosen by kids will battle with eight chapter books chosen by library staff. Stop by the Main Library every two weeks beginning Sunday, Feb. 26, and vote to make sure that your favorite advances to the next round.
You can also cast your vote online on the library’s Kids’ page. Correctly predict the winner and you could win a prize! For more information, contact Children’s Services at 701.241.1495.
Schedule:
- February 26 – March 12: Round 1 voting
- March 13 – March 26: Round 2 voting
- March 27 – April 9: Round 3 voting
- April 10 – April 23: Round 4 voting
The winning book will be announced Monday, April 24.
The library also has a Battle of the Books bracket that you can print off at home and fill out to try to correctly predict the winning title. Print the bracket, fill it out and drop it off at any FPL location on or before Sunday, March 12, and you could win a prize.
