Fargo Library to Host ‘Bob Lind’s Neighbors’ Event February 27

Event will feature some of Lind’s Forum columns and writings

Columnist Bob Lind loved conversing, in person and in writing, and he kept the conversation going for 26 years in his Forum column, “Neighbors.” The Fargo Public Library will host “Bob Lind’s Neighbors,” an event featuring some of Lind’s columns and other writings, on Monday, February 27, at 6:30 p.m. at the Dr. James Carlson Library branch, 2801 32nd Avenue South.

Bob’s daughter, Laurie Lind, has compiled some of his columns and other writings into the book, “Bob Lind’s Neighbors: Your Stories and the Man Who Wrote Them.” She and other friends of Bob will be on hand for an evening of Neighbors-like conversation, pie, and coffee. Copies of the book will be available for purchase (cash or check only). For more details, contact Lori West at 701.476.5977.

Fargo Public Library events are free and open to the public. Adults must accompany children ages nine and younger. For more information about the library, resources, services and a list of upcoming events, call 701.241.1492 or visit www.fargolibrary.org.
