On Saturday, October 10th, Red River Market will celebrate a milestone: its 100th farmer’s market event. The market is in its sixth season since opening in 2015.
The event will also include prize drawings throughout the day and visitors will receive a party hat and a free commemorative 100th Market Day sticker designed by local artist, Jack Machacek. The market’s signature 1949 red Chevy truck will also be decorated for fall family photos.
Along with over 40 local vendors including produce, meat, eggs, bakery, pantry items, household goods, and art, visitors will be able to enjoy three live performances by local musicians.
Visitors will be able to shop from fall favorites including pumpkins and fresh apples. Hot food and beverages are also available from vendors including hot apple cider from Norel’s Hillside Orchard.
The Red River Market and its vendors are taking precautions to ensure that the season is safe for all, including a new layout that will provide double the square footage to allow for social distancing. Visitors can find all of the vendor requirements and visitor guidelines online at www.redriver.market/covid.
All vendors accept SNAP/EBT on eligible products and Red River Market matches purchases up to $10 per person per visit at the information booth.
More information on vendors and parking are available at www.redriver.market.
