Toronto blues-rock duo CATL. will hit Fargo with a show at The Aquarium on Friday, April 12th. In support will be locals Mr. Meaner, the Stovepipes and Gadzooks!
CATL. have been touring all around Canada, the U.S. and Europe for the better part of a decade, and they just released Bide my time until I die…, their 5th LP. It’s out now on Romanus Records in North America and Beast Records in Europe!
The band’s line-up features Sarah K. on the stand-up drum kit and Jamie Fleming rockin’ his old Gretsch archtop. The duo’s primitive groove makes folks dance and lose their collective minds. CATL. has shared the stage with Alabama Shakes, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, The Sadies, Andre Williams, The Sonics and The Reigning Sound. They have played The Montreal International Jazz Festival, NXNE, SXSW, Pop Montreal, Sled Island Music Festival, TURF, Deep Blues Festival in Bayport, MN, and Clarksdale, MS, Binic Folk and Blues Festival in France, as well as The Raut Oak Fest in Germany.
The Spring Thaw Tour will bring CATL. to cities that they have never played before, including Milwaukee, Fargo, Winnipeg and Thunder Bay. The band will also touch down in Minneapolis where they previously played the Longfellow Roots, Rock and Deep-Blues Festival, way back in 2015.
