Plains Art Museum Announces Plains Art Inside & Out Program

Plains Art Museum announces a new art-making program called Plains Art Inside & Out, offering customizable art-making experiences to groups of all ages. Each experience is led by a professional teaching artist, involves working with clay, and can be customized to fit your group’s schedule and needs. “Plains Art Inside” experiences are offered inside Plains Art Museum’s Center for Creativity, and “Plains Art Outside” experiences are offered outside the Museum at an alternate location of your choosing (must include access to water, tables and chairs for all participants). Experiences range from 2-2.5 hours and require a minimum of 8 participants.

Groups can choose from a menu of ceramics projects, ranging from flower pots to animal sculptures to pottery on the wheel. All projects will be painted and fired, then returned to participants. Experiences start at $20 per participant for hand-building with clay, and $25 per participant for pottery on the wheel. Learn more and submit a booking request at plainsart.org/create/experience-by-request/.
