Wine Class – There’s No Shame In Your Sweet Game

April 6 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Taste and learn to appreciate sweet with with Laura Botten.

Sweet wine often gets a bad rap from serious wine drinkers. It is seen as a beginner’s wine, something fit only for new consumers or those without developed palates. While a large chunk of  sweet wine is a bulk product made with little consideration for quality and much for profit, we would be remiss if we ignored the long history and exceptional quality of truly well-crafted sweet wine.

In this class, Laura Botten will show you why sweet wines are not something you need to feel shame about liking. You will explore wines from all around the globe made in a variety of classic and innovative styles. You will learn how sweet wines work in food pairing from taming spicy dishes to complementing decadent desserts. You will learn the many methods by which sweet wines are made, some of them decidedly labor intensive. And of course, you will get to taste delicious, palate-tingling wines ranging from slightly to luxuriously sweet.

Must be 21+ to attend.
