Wine Class – Blind Tasting: Italy vs California

Join Certified Sommelier Josh Voytek in a unique exploration of how blind tasting works and the challenge of identifying wines made from the same grapes but from different regions. For this first blind tasting class, we will be exploring three Italian varietals with classic representations compared to three California counterparts of the same varietal. It will be a chance to test yourself to see if you can accurately pick out which wine comes from Italy and which comes from California without the benefit of seeing the bottle, and also a chance to form your impressions about the wines and your palate without any preconceived notions.
