SPRING USED BOOK SALE

FreeThe Friends of the Fargo Public Library will hold a Spring Used Book Sale in the breezeway of the downtown Main Library on Friday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday, May 6 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You are invited to come and enjoy browsing the stacks of gently used books to find bargains and treasures.
There is something for everyone with a wide assortment of books, including fiction, non-fiction, and reference books as well as CDs and DVDs. Near the end of the sale, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, books will sell for Five Dollars a Bag.
During the book sale on Saturday, the downtown Main Library will offer Kindergarten Success Storytime for ages 3-5 from 10-11 a.m. The goal of storytime is to instill the love of reading and each child will receive a Free Book. Later on Saturday, the Cropdusters, a group of local musicians, will perform a variety of musical styles in a Free Concert from 2-3 p.m.
Spring book sales will also be held at the Dr. James Carlson and Northport branch libraries.
If you’d like to donate books, bring your used books to the Friends of the Fargo Public Library Bookstore at the Main Library, 104 4th Street North. Proceeds from the sale of books will be used to support functions and programming at the Fargo Public Library.
