LifeSource is hosting its first Strides for Second Chances on May 18, 2024 to increase awareness of organ donation and its impact in the local community.

Why are we walking? What’s at stake?

Every 8 minutes, a name is added to the waiting list for an organ transplant. This list includes men, women and children. People of all ages. People of all backgrounds.

Maybe this is you. Or someone close to you. Come support the mission of saving lives and offering hope and healing through donation on May 18th!

The day will include:

  • A kick-off program;
  • A 1-mile loop surrounding the Garden of Healing;
  • A resource fair;
  • Entertainment and refreshments; and
  • Opportunity to register as an organ donor on-site.
