Icewind Brewing Chili Cook-Off

🌶 🔥 🌶 Join us Saturday February 10th for our 1st ever Chili Cook-Off!!

Think you have the best chili out there? Then sign up to enter your best recipe(s) and compete for a cash prize and chili glory!!
Here’s the basics:

The categories for entries are:
1) Traditional (red chili peppers w/ no beans)
2) Homestyle (red chili peppers w/ beans)
3) Chili Verde: (green chili peppers w/ no beans)
4) Salsa

🔥 Entry fee of $25 for all chilis and $15 for all salsas. Teams may submit max of (1) entry per category.

🌶 All chilis / salsas will be made AHEAD of event and will be warmed on site.

🔥 There will be a cash prize & trophy for Best in Category (1 each), Best Overall Chili, and People’s Choice.

🌶 Judging will be based on appearance, aroma, texture, and most importantly, FLAVOR!!

🔥 Timeline of events:
2-3pm – Contestants check-in, setup & warm chilis
3-4pm – Judging
4-5:30pm – Public sampling & People’s Choice voting (samples are FREE!)
5:30-6pm Winners announced & prizes given

🔥 Registration is requested by Monday, February 5th by 5pm. Payment for entries is due at check-in day of event. More details about competition will be emailed upon completion of pre-registration.
