Cocktail Class – Breakfast Inspired Cocktails

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, or so the saying goes. And how can we disbelieve this saying when we see the bounty breakfast has to offer – bacon, pancakes, french toast, eggs, sausage, waffles, and much, much more. Yet when it comes to spirited breakfast drinks, the list is more limited – bloody marys, mimosas, and that is about it. But what if we took the established panoply of breakfast flavors and used them to construct cocktails worthy of a breakfast of champions?

In this class, Evan Christie will concoct mixtures to do just this. Using breakfast dishes as inspiration, he will modify existing or create original cocktails. Expect riffs on expected breakfast flavors like fresh fruits, maple syrup, and fresh juices as well as experiments with less-expected ingredients (sausage and ham perhaps?).
